To date the project has made significant progress:
Land Acquisition and Assessments:
The project has successfully acquired the necessary land and completed a comprehensive topographical assessment to inform design and construction considerations as well as municipal regulations. It has also undergone environmental assessment and has no requirements or limitations assigned.
Zoning and Regulatory Approvals:
Milestones include navigating zoning and by-law regulations, development of relationships with town authorities, ensuring compliance and alignment with municipal requirements.
Design Development:
Detailed massing studies, schematic design phases, and floor plan layouts have been explored and refined. This process included generating floor plans and renders to visualize the project's architectural vision.
Moving forward, the next steps include:
Community Engagement and Feedback:
Consultations with the town stakeholders will be conducted, awaiting public feedback to incorporate community perspectives into the project's final design and planning stages.
Permitting and Approvals:
Soon permits will be secured, with town approval obtained for the final submission of plans. This milestone will pave the way for the next steps in construction and development.
Construction Preparation:
The project will advance into the tendering phase, engaging structural engineers and finalizing systems design to prepare for the upcoming construction phase.
